Shaker Tins
Five of the six drinks here are shaken, and the dilution a hard shake delivers is not a side effect — it is an ingredient you accounted for when you wrote the spec. A two-piece tin set seals on impact, breaks with the heel of your hand, and pulls heat faster than glass because metal conducts. The three-piece cobbler shaker most kits ship with does neither well: its built-in strainer clogs and its cap seizes shut the moment the metal contracts.
Shaking does three things at once, and only one of them is getting the drink cold.
